Mirage Endoscopy Center accepts many insurance carriers in the Rancho Mirage and Coachella Valley area. For our patients’ convenience, we will file a claim with your insurance company. However, it is very important to remember that filing a claim with your insurance provider does not guarantee your claim will be covered under your policy. Should the insurance company decide the procedures performed by Mirage Endoscopy are not covered, the patient will be responsible for the outstanding balance for services provided. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to contact your insurance provider to confirm coverage and costs before your scheduled appointment.
Please note your physician will bill for their professional fees directly from their office. Payment for fees due to Mirage Endoscopy Center is due within 30 days of your appointment. In the event your physician orders a biopsy, we will send your insurance information to the lab with your specimen. The lab and pathologist will bill you or your insurance directly for their fees. If your physician orders monitored anesthesia care (MAC) the anethesia provider will bill you or your insurance directly for their fees.
If your insurance policy includes a copayment or deductible for outpatient gastrointestinal procedures, such as colonoscopy, payment will be due at the time you check in. As a courtesy to our patients, Mirage Endoscopy will contact your insurance provider to verify any payments due at the time of service. Please be sure to provide us with current and accurate insurance information or there may be a delay in payment by your insurance carrier.
When you arrive for your appointment, please bring your insurance cards so we can make copies for your file.
We accept cash, checks, VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards. We also accept CareCredit, though you must apply for acceptance before your appointment.
Our facility is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. We are fully licensed by the state of California and we are Medicare certified.
